BMKG Nunukan and RRI Nunukan Collaborate to Improve Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Information Services

In an effort to improve Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (MKG) information services in Nunukan Regency, the Nunukan Class IV Meteorological Station signed a Cooperation Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Public Broadcasting Institution Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Nunukan. The signing of this cooperation was carried out on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Nunukan BMKG Office. This cooperation was signed by the Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (KUPT) of the Nunukan Class IV Meteorological Station, Mr. William Santo Hasudungan Sinaga, S.Kom. and the head of RRI Nunukan, Mrs. Isnaini, S.E., M.M. and her staff. Through this collaboration, MKG information is expected to reach all levels of society in the Nunukan area more effectively. This information will be disseminated through broadcast and news programs produced by RRI Nunukan. With this collaboration, BMKG Nunukan hopes to increase public awareness and understanding of weather, climate, and geophysical information, so that it can support disaster preparedness and mitigation in the Nunukan area.
