Nunukan Meteorological Station participated in the Flood Disaster Contingency Planning Workshop Activity

The Nunukan Meteorological Station participated in a two-day Flood Disaster Contingency Planning Workshop organized by the Nunukan Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) at the Nunukan Regent's Office. Day One The Head of the Nunukan Meteorological Station was represented by Ulifa Harisiwi and one member. This activity aimed to maximize and strengthen synergy between agencies in flood mitigation efforts in Nunukan Regency. Day Two The activity continued with a data collection session on the locations of emergency response posts and flood-prone areas. On this occasion, the Nunukan Meteorological Station, represented by three members, expressed its commitment to support by providing early warning information for extreme weather as a preventative measure for hydrometeorological disasters, particularly floods. The meeting concluded with the signing of the minutes, and all data from the workshop will be submitted to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).
