Nunukan Meteorological Station Participates in the 2024 Nunukan District Forest and Land Fire Control Team Coordination Meeting
The Nunukan Meteorological Station actively participated in the Coordination Meeting of the Forest and Land Fire Control Team (Karhutla) of Nunukan Regency which took place on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 09.00 - 11.00 WITA in the Border Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Nunukan Regent's Office. The meeting was attended by all invited guests and the meeting was led by the Head of the Nunukan BPBD, Arif Budiman. The Nunukan Meteorological Station was represented by weather observers, Rayhan Rinanto and Angela Simamora. The Nunukan Meteorological Station, which is part of the Forest and Land Fire Prevention Sector, provided an explanation of the dry season forecast in Nunukan Regency, an explanation of hotspot information, and a further introduction to the Sistem Aplikasi Peringatan Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan (SPARTAN) by BMKG. With this coordination meeting, it is hoped that it can increase synergy between various parties in efforts to prevent and control forest and land fires in Nunukan Regency. Nunukan Meteorological Station is committed to continuing to provide accurate and up-to-date weather information to support efforts to overcome forest and land fires.
